Meet The Team
Dawn Connor has been working as a cycling instructor since 2009. She's a regular cyclist with her shopper pannier bags and is also a radio presenter on the Barnstaple local radio station. She is always saddened when she hears of children denied the freedom of cycling due to safety concerns. A bit of training can put paid to these concerns. The benefits of cycling in terms of health, teenage independence and self-esteem can be enormous!

Eric van der Horst has been a cycling instructor since 2008 and has a (life) long history of cycling. He grew up in Holland with cycling as a natural means of transport and explored most of Western Europe by bicycle. He also cycled coast to coast in Australia and the United States. He used to be a Television News Director before he moved to the UK in 2007. Eric also works as Cycle Route Surveyor and Consultant and writes books about cycling. See also his homepage.

Ian Jewell has been a cycling instructor since 2009. Besides being an experienced cyclist he is also a keen rugby-player, swimmer and runner. He has completed hundreds of triathlons and also did the famous Sydney Harbour swim multiple times. Ian is a born and bred Devonian and enjoys the great outdoors. He finds it important that young people become confident in cycling, so they can use these skills to their own benefit.
